Brand Story

Jehan is born out of a desire to shift contemporary Pakistani clothing towards a more sustainable approach and away from the whims of trend-driven production: it is an attempt to slow down and return to traditional ways of making that respect the planet. Our designs honour the timeless beauty of handwoven fabrics and indigenous crafts, while embodying a minimalist and modern sensibility.

Zara Shahjahan has been a mainstay of the local fashion community for many years, and with these new projects, she intends to create a forward movement towards careful consumption. There is a simplicity to each piece we make at Jehan, with a focus on clean lines and meticulous construction, making them a transeasonal constant in any thoughtfully curated wardrobe or home.
